Part 1 of our hopefully expansive (eventually) series taking a look inside the hallowed walls of London's finest flea-pits.
That time of year again and another twelve months of movie viewing gone. Not our most prolific year by any stretch but we're still here (just!) so check out what we liked, dislike and what surprised us during 2015.
BFI LFF 2015
Our fourth tour of the wonders of the festival was a good one. We're probably still attempting to complete the write-ups as you read this. In 2016. Ever the professionals though, we didn't let the Picturehouse Central bar get in the way of blogging the hell out of this one.
Saving the Universe is all well and good but one day, they're going to want to settle down, otherwise, what's the point? Which got us thinking, which of the Avengers would make the most suitable husband?
Sporting all new, all fabulous branding and a snazzy new title, London's LGBT festival is back in town from 19th to 29th March. Featuring dozens of new movies, some old favourites and a bunch of events that we're sure have a particularly niche audience. We take a peak....
It's that time of year. The votes are counted (didn't take long) and we present our picks from the silver screen from the last twelve months.
Surprising Swan Songs - Part 2
2014 - Onwards!
2013 - In Review

BFI LFF 2013
It's the most wonderful time of the year... Some fool sang that about Christmas. Bah we say, we all know it's the 9th to the 20th of October (this year anyway). 200 odd feature length movies plus a whole truck load of other fun. Check out our LFF 2013 Front Page as we gradually update our reviews!
Edinburgh International Film Festival 2013
BOO! Ah! Got ya. Yup, It's that brief time of year before all the shops deluge us with Christmas tat. And we get to witness all kinds of horrifying sights on the streets as revellers head to parties dressed as Jimmy Saville or something equally tasteless
It's also a time for scary movies. We picked five from the back catalogue to remind you about right here. .
Broken Shark are off to bonny Scotland, Edinburgh to be precise where we plan to watch as many film as is humanely possible - in two days. Wish us luck. We will of course report back with any news from the festival and may even squeeze an interview in. Then we will need a nice long lie down.
